Hi Everyone!
This past June, John and I visited
the Alex Madonna Expo Center located in San Luis Obispo, CA for
the Remnants of the Past Vintage Show.
It was difficult for me to process all the wonderful vintage beauties at this show.
As always anything green helped settle my anxious vintage hunt.
This gypsy wagon is named Old Edna.
Click here for more information on a very special european farm stay.
We were greeted by the owner of Old Edna, Pattea, as she gave us a peek
into her very interesting past.
This happy greeting set the tone for the rest of our visit
into more and more remnants of the past fun.
Loving these chairs...
Lavender in a tub...sweet surprise...
more green in a bucket....hee, hee
I snapped away trying hard to avoid the many shoppers.
Still enjoying the sunny day...
Let's go inside..
This booth belonged to Dreamy Whites. Check out her fantastic blog!
Just look at how these happy succulents smile in their repurposed homes!
.......
What did I buy....
This little spool from an importer from Holland.
Cost $6 dollars.
A book about how to doodle in French by Anna Corba.
Cost$16.95.
I loved getting to talk with her about her love of everything French.
A tiny little chalk board.
Cost $5 dollars.
Ok.... I didn't spend much
but I took home so much more....
inspiration
thoughts
ideas
for using and repurposing.
On leaving look at this view :-))
The location for this vintage show can heal your
creative soul too....
Back at the Storybook
tired and already looking forward to next time.
October 20 & 21, 2012.
Maybe I'll see you there:-)))
Hugs.....
